You may choose from these two options:

HOW MANY TESTS DO I NEED TO TAKE TO RECEIVE A UTAH DRIVER’S LICENSE?
1. Traffic Safety and Trends Exam: This is an online, open-book exam required for all first-time driver’s license applicants. This exam may be taken as often as necessary and be passed with a 100% score.
2. Written Knowledge Test: This exam is taken in person at the Drivers License Division. If you have never been licensed in Utah or any other state or country, you must take a 50-question closed-book test.
If you have been previously licensed in another state or country and are applying for your first-time Utah driver’s license, you will be required to take a 25-question open-book test.
3. Driving Skills Test: Also known as the Road Test. It evaluates driving behaviors, demonstrating that you possess the basic skills, knowledge, and abilities to safely maneuver a vehicle in compliance with Utah State Traffic Rules and Regulations and generally accepted safe driving practices.
CAN I COMPLETE MY DRIVER’S EDUCATION AND ROAD TEST WITH YOU?
